I reread that message several times. Because you can't just make up a sentence like that. It comes from someone who has actually experienced something\u2014not just learned about it.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s the difference we strive to make with every project. It\u2019s not about conveying information. It\u2019s about raising awareness.<\/p>\n
Throughout this series of synergy initiatives, we worked with several departments. Each team had its own dynamics, unspoken issues, and blind spots. Each team went through the same process: seeing themselves. Really seeing themselves\u2014not how they\u2019d like to be seen, but how they actually function together.<\/p>\n
One director said, \u201cFar from being a work method, team synergy is first and foremost a vision, a standard, and a commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another director said, \u201cThe workshop allowed us to look beyond our usual perceptions and take an objective look at our group dynamics.\u201d<\/p>\n
What moved me the most was the candor. The sense of presence that the participants brought to the table. Their courage to point out what wasn\u2019t working\u2014and their determination to build something different.<\/p>\n
Team coaching isn't a one-time event. It's a starting point.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
What these directors experienced in Abidjan, I see it too in Toronto, Geneva, and Ottawa. The words change. The language changes. But what happens in the room\u2014that indefinable thing that makes a team decide to choose one another\u2014is universal.<\/p>\n
